Meet Dr. Wentz

Dr. Wentz attended Nicholls State University in Louisiana where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She continued her education at Louisiana State University earning both her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, as well as completing her specialty training in Periodontics.

Dr. Wentz is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontist, and Texas Society of Periodontists. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and South Plains District Dental Society, where she has served in many offices, including past-president. Dr. Wentz has lectured to dental colleagues as well as the medical community on periodontal plastic surgery and the links between periodontal disease and systemic diseases.

Dr. Wentz enjoys working with her husband, Dr. Ed Wentz, and her sister-in-law, Dr. Holly Reeves, both orthodontists. She and her husband are blessed with four fantastic children and proud to be grandparents as well! She enjoys spending time with her family, running, cooking, and being outdoors.
